Privacy Policy

This policy covers deepcrest.ai, its free resources and the Substack Operating System waitlist. DeepCrest is operated by RevivalBytes AI Labs LLP, India. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to tuhin@deepcrest.ai.

What we collect and why

  • Waitlist details: your email address and, if you provide it, your first name. We use these to record your signup, send a welcome email and share occasional Substack OS updates, including launch information.
  • Subscription and delivery records: signup status, unsubscribe preferences, email delivery or bounce information, and whether a welcome email has already been sent. These help us manage the list, respect your choices and avoid repeat welcomes. Email providers may also record open and link-click events through their email technology.
  • Messages you send us: your contact details and the contents of your message, so we can answer your question or handle a request.
  • Technical information: our hosting and security providers process information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time to deliver the site, prevent abuse and investigate errors.

You can browse and download the public resources without creating an account or joining the waitlist. The demonstrations run in your browser with illustrative content; they do not send your writing to an AI provider.

Email choices

Submitting the waitlist form asks us to send the welcome and product-update emails described beside it. Your first name is optional. You can unsubscribe through the link in our emails or email tuhin@deepcrest.ai to withdraw your permission. Withdrawing does not affect processing that has already taken place.

The DeepCrest newsletter is a separate subscription on Substack. Joining the product waitlist does not subscribe you to that newsletter. You manage each subscription separately.

Services that handle information

  • Vercel hosts the website and handles requests, security and operational logs. Vercel privacy policy.
  • Mailchimp stores waitlist contact details, subscription preferences and welcome-send records. Mailchimp privacy information.
  • Brevo delivers our welcome email and processes recipient details, email content and delivery records. Brevo privacy policy.
  • Substack handles newsletter subscriptions when you follow a newsletter link and subscribe there. Its service is governed by its own privacy policy.

Our business email provider also processes messages you send us. These providers may process information in countries other than yours, under their service agreements and applicable data-protection requirements. We share information as needed to provide these services, comply with law or address abuse. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and website tracking

This website does not use advertising pixels or optional analytics scripts. Hosting and security services may use essential cookies or similar technology to protect the site. External services, including Substack and email-provider pages, have their own cookie practices.

How long we keep information

We retain waitlist details while you remain subscribed and the list is being used for its stated purpose. If you unsubscribe, we stop product-update emails and may retain a limited suppression record to prevent sending them again. Correspondence and technical records are kept as needed to respond, operate the site, address abuse or meet legal obligations. Provider retention and backup processes may also apply.

Your requests and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or raise a privacy concern, by emailing tuhin@deepcrest.ai. We may need to verify that the request concerns your information. We will handle requests under applicable law and explain if some records must be retained. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing, receive a copy or complain to a relevant data-protection authority.

Please do not submit another person’s information without their permission. This site and its mailing lists are intended for adults; we do not knowingly collect children’s personal information.

Security and changes

We use access controls, server-side credentials and encrypted connections to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. We will update this page when our practices change and provide additional notice where required.
